There goes Henry Smith; a 17 year old High School Student at Beyer High School in Modesto, California. Henry is the Captain of the Football Team and a darn good running back. Smith has been on the varsity squad for the past 2 years and has scored over 24 touchdowns. Smith is currently dating this past year’s Prom Queen and head Cheerleader, Nickie Garcia. She is definitely a cutie pie; at 5’4” tall, 110 pounds soaking wet, brown colored hair, brown colored eyes, and with the God given ability to get in positions one would not believe, (Yep, she is a gymnast as well).
The year is 1986 and Smith is just learning how to be a serial killer; and therefore he’s a chip off the old block. His mother, (Frieda Smith), is a single mom that tried to do the best she could. Smith has no siblings that he is aware of. Henry Smith does wonder who his father is. Frieda won’t tell him the name of his biological parents. She tells him that she adopted him when he was 3 months old. Maybe Henry Smith will find out before long? Then again maybe he won’t?
We have less than a month before his graduation. Smith has been an Explorer with the Modesto Police Department for the past 2 years and finds Law Enforcement very exciting.
He has also discovered that power is more desirable than sex. The power of a Police Officer is quite incredible. They can decide when, where, why, and who to arrest. They normally don’t have anyone snooping over them when they are dispatched to a call as most agencies don’t have enough Officers to go around. Sergeants usually show up only when they are requested, so one is free to handle the call as one chooses. Police Officers can choose to give a ticket to someone or to let them go with a warning. They can arrest someone just on suspicion, or let them go on a whim. If they believe a felony has been committed, they are free to arrest, just because a felony has been committed.
Police Officer’s are given a lot of freedom. When a person is arrested, the Police Officer removes all of their belongings, (Pager, wallet, money, jewelry, self-respect, etc.), and then books them into a county jail and then they are removed of their clothing as well. This is power, when one can take a person’s belongings and leave them with nothing. Ultimate power is the decision to save or take a life. Ultimate power can be very intoxicating. Rich men, poor men, upper class, middle class, and homeless have all been arrested. They all have one thing in common at that time. They do not have smiles upon their faces; they are not in the happiest place in Anaheim. They seem to all feel like they have been just kicked in the balls with a steel-toed shoe.
Just last week Henry Smith discovered the total freedom of power. He killed his best friend, Michael Langley. Michael was an Explorer with the Modesto Police Department and a senior at Beyer High School. He just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time; well not really but that is the story I think we had better stick with.
Michael had been Smith’s best friend for the past 4 years. They got along as best friends usually do. Michael had a girlfriend named Bertha Johnston that was quite attractive. Bertha is a blonde haired, blue eyed buxom 16 year old that can suck the white off of rice, if you know what I mean. Bertha was lonely so while Michael was visiting Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and others at the Happiest place on Earth; she went to a movie with Henry at the local drive-inn in Ceres. Well Smith just happened to bring a bottle of rum with him so they both added a little coke to their rum. Well before the end of the movie, one thing led to another and Henry Smith got an oral exam from Ms. Johnston. Maybe that is why some of her friends call her, B.J. Last week during a break up between Bertha and Michael, she let it slip that she performed the white on rice trick with Smith during Michael’s visit to Disneyland the previous year. Michael then confronted Smith on Tuesday and lo and behold Smith decided he had no choice but to kill him the next night; as he was planning to let Garcia know about the dirty deeds done with BJ.
Henry tried to explain to him that it meant nothing, that he had just enjoyed the moment, but Michael started talking about their friendship and that he was a traitor and on and on. So right then and there Smith just decided to end their friendship permanently. While he was ranting and raving, Smith was a planning on how to permanently terminate their friendship. I am sure Smith thought immediately of a drug overdose, or maybe an accidental on purpose poisoning. Smith finally decided on a random act of kindness. He decided to blow his brains out in order to spare him all that suffering from an overdose or the vomiting of poison. After all they had been best friend’s for several years and the chance of meeting BJ might not have come if they hadn‘t become friends. What’s the saying, “One door opens as another door closes”.
So on Wednesday morning Henry Smith went over and formally apologized to his best friend in the world, Michael. He explained to him that he would make it up to him by having his current girlfriend not only give him a blow job, but that he would let him have anal sex with her as well. Well Michael Langley then had the biggest smile, very similar to the Joker’s smile on the old Batman Television show. They then made a plan to meet at a local park at 8:00 PM and that he could have her in the restroom, while Henry stood body guard. Of course Smith had no plan to let Michael enjoy his girlfriend, but knew that just the thought of her would entice him enough to be there on time. So when the time came, Smith took his newly found weapon, a pair of gloves, and extra clothing just in case his best friend bled on him a little. Smith then drove to the Modesto Central Park near Costco. He was in his mom’s red colored Nissan Sentra and parked it near the restrooms. Not another vehicle was in sight, what a perfect night for a homicide. It wasn’t Christmas time, but as the story of, “Twas the Night before Christmas;” goes nothing was a stir, not even a mouse.
As Michael rode up on his blue colored 10 speed Huffy brand bicycle, his smile was a mile long. Smith got out of the car and Michael got off of his bike. They then walked to the female side of the restrooms. Henry told him that Nickie was inside one of the stalls waiting for him. She was wearing a mini skirt with no panties and had a blanket on the floor so that she could deliver his blow job while he stood up. Michael then placed his bicycle outside the restroom. He then stepped inside and started to look for Nickie Garcia.
Smith then placed on some deer skin gloves and pulled the revolver from his waist band and followed his good friend inside the room. If it had been a paper target; I believe he would have scored three tens. True to his word, Henry then shot Michael once in the head to indeed blow his brains out. Michael Langley was found the next morning by the Parks and Recreation Maintenance Crew Leader and a murder investigation is currently under way.
It is now May 15th, the day of Michael Langley’s funeral. Smith of course will have to attend. At the church service, Smith sits next to Nickie Garcia and is dressed in a dark blue suit, dark blue colored long sleeve shirt and a black colored tie. Smith looks very handsome. He could have worn his Explorer Uniform like all the rest of the geeks, but decided to show his respects in a more formal manner. Smith is able to produce tears in order to throw off any suspicion that Michael and he had a falling out. If anyone is to be suspected it should be Bertha Johnston, after all she is the person that recently upset Michael.
Luckily for Bertha, this is a case that will go unsolved. Okay, luckily for Henry Smith as well. One of his first murders. Well sometimes shit does indeed just happen. If Bertha hadn’t of broken up with dear old Michael, maybe she wouldn’t have spilled the beans and Michael wouldn’t have had to be killed.
Sometimes Smith just recalls the look in Langley’s eyes when he saw the gun being pointed at his chest. That look will bring Smith a smile for years to come. That is truly power and Henry yearns for more. He is intelligent enough to know that one must learn to use the power wisely. If too many of his good friends end up being killed in restrooms, he can eventually become a viable suspect. Smith would not yield too much power if incarcerated. That would be no fun for him at all.
After the funeral, several friends are having a party to celebrate Michael, who is unable to celebrate anymore. Henry arrives at Brett Mariani’s house and finds several good friends are drinking to their health and to the memory of Mr. Langley. Bertha Johnston is at the home as well. Henry walks up to her and can see that she has been crying; she truly cared for Michael after all. Henry kisses her on the cheek and tells her that he is in a better place. She then hugs him. Henry then notices the tub of beer in the middle of the yard and grabs a Michelob Light. Henry really doesn’t like the taste of beer. He does love the wine cooler though, Bartyles and James being his favorite.
After drinking several Michelob’s and hearing many a tale about his good friend Michael, Henry decides to head back to his home. He has a test in his Government class in the morning. As Smith walks home he finds Nickie Garcia sitting on the front steps of his porch. She is escorted inside and they quickly go into his bedroom. She was there to comfort Henry from the loss of his best friend. After receiving the blow job, which he had promised to Michael. While walking back home, Henry can see a lovely college neighbor is walking home as well. She is attending Turkey Tech, (California State University at Stanislaus, CSUS for short), and her name is Sally Jean Redford. She appears to be a little tipsy as she stumbles along. Smith has talked to Sally Jean several times and has had a little crush on her for quite some time. She has lovely green eyes, and red colored hair similarly cut like the I love Lucy star. Redford, (No relation to the actor), has a nice figure but her bosoms are way too small.

Henry assists her by removing her white stained blouse and using it to wipe her face and clean her up a bit. Henry discovers that her undershirt is a white colored tank top and that she does not wear a bra underneath. Redford then thanks him and tries to give him a kiss on the lips. Henry then starts to fondle her little nipples and wishes he had some mouthwash for her. Smith has a strong stomach so he kisses her back and leads her to his home. As they are entering thru the front door, Henry asks her, “Do you feel any better?”
Henry tells her, “I can get you some seven-up to calm your tummy.” She tells him, “I’m okay.” Henry leads her to his bedroom and removes her little white tank top. He then removes the rest of her clothes; black colored Levis, nude colored nylons, and white colored cotton panties. Henry escorts her to his bedroom bathroom and asks her, “Do you want to brush your teeth?” He then hands her a bottle of Scope mouthwash and an extra toothbrush. Redford is finished with the toothpaste and Scope and it is Henry’s turn. He brushes and uses the Scope. Both of their mouths are smelling minty fresh.
Henry grabs Redford by the hand and escorts her to the land of Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo, and the rest of the Ninja Turtle clan. As Henry enters Sally Jean she screams in delight. Luckily for Mr. Smith, his mom works from nine at night until seven in the morning. Sally Jean luckily does not puke on Smith or the Ninja Turtles they are on top of. Henry discovers that it is almost 4:00 AM. He offers to make Sally Jean some breakfast but she tells him that she is not hungry. Henry then puts her clothes into the dryer and returns to find that Sally Jean has fallen asleep again. He lies next to her and is finally able to fall asleep as well. Henry awakens at six and removes Redford’s clothes from the dryer. He then gently nudges Sally and tells her, “It might be best that you get dressed as my mom is coming home soon.”
Henry then enjoys watching Sally get dressed. She then leans over and kisses him, her breath is still minty fresh. Sally Jean is escorted to the front door and kissed as she is leaving and heading for her home. She tells Henry, “I had a good time and enjoyed your assistance of getting me almost home.” As Sally is walking the block to her home, Henry gets dressed and starts to study for the test that awaits him in his Government class.
As Henry starts to make some breakfast, his mom, (Frieda Smith), arrives home from her shift at Memorial Hospital, (She is a RN). When Smith was in Elementary School, Frieda had been a teacher, but she has since gone back to School and changed careers.
Henry asked her how her shift went and she tells him, “That it was fairly boring and that no murders, stabbings or mayhems happened during my shift.” She tells him, “I’m sure that this coming weekend will prove different as a full moon will be shining.“
If one were to talk to anyone in law enforcement, or any employee that works the graveyard shift one will be told without a doubt that the craziest of crazy people will pop out of the woodworks whenever a full moon arises. If there is a lady that is wearing a metal bowl over her head and is sure that aliens are planning an organized attack in the next minute, you can rest assured that a full moon is near.
Henry finishes his makeshift breakfast of oatmeal and fruit and starts to walk to Nickie Garcia’s home so that they can walk to class together. As he knocks on the front door, he finds that Garcia is wearing a blue colored mini skirt and a white colored top. If Nickie were viewed in this outfit by a corpse in the ground for over six months, the stiff probably would sport a woody from the view. Garcia’s hair is similarly cut to Farrah Fawcett’s style and her makeup is lightly applied.
Henry has found it convenient for him to donate a full shift a week for his commitment.
